Canterbury 2021 flood recovery

Immediately following the region-wide flooding of 31 May – 2 June 2021 we undertook an assessment of all damaged flood infrastructure across Canterbury.

This resulted in a list of flood damaged sites needing repairs. All sites were assessed against the risk of damage to community infrastructure, homes and land and allocated to one of three priority categories to assist with scheduling.
